It's funny you mention Julia Cameron and The Artist's Way. I've been on again/off again doing those "Morning Pages" for years, but yeah, only one page, not three. Or for ten minutes. Whichever comes first. Finally, I can admit that! I was keeping that a secret. More evidence of your power as a personal storyteller/truthteller, capable of bringing hidden truths to light....
I love hearing about your discovery process with 51 birch street and the kids grow up. I haven't seen 112 weddings yet but I plan to see it soon. I will likely be reaching out to you soon for some consultation on a pair of projects I'm working on. I could use your help! Thanks for letting us know you are available for that.
Look forward to hearing about your projects, Christina, and would love to consult on them when you’re ready. I offer a free half hour consult to begin with and then you can decide to go forward if you think I can be helpful. Or not, and no worries. Email me if you want to schedule the freebie: doug@d-word.com
And if you’re available next Sat the 16th I’ll be hosting an Ask Me Anything zoom from 12-1:00pm EDT for my Substack subscribers only. I’ll include the zoom registration link in my next post
Thank you, Doug! I'll look for that registration and will definitely reach out soon to schedule an initial half hour. I've got a personal feature in the writing stage and a related short that's a profile of one of the characters in the feature. The short is at the early rough cut stage and I'm trying to do too much with it I think! I'm not great at describing the projects succinctly (that is part of the issue, probably), but I'll do my best when we speak. I'd love to get your initial reactions to the two concepts and then get some detailed help with shaping the short (which is currently WAY too long). I'm excited to connect with you about them!
I just set up the Zoom for next Saturday and emailed you the registration link, Christina. Let's also schedule our own Zoom call. I'm sure I can help you with the issues you're describing. See you soon!

Hard to believe we once had 3 pages in us :)
